It is amazing how many monsters get built in our brains when we’re stressed.
Stress is the perception that we cannot cope with life’s challenges and demands. As we are faced with the event, our fear begins to exaggerate the demand and monsters are created in our minds.
The tools used to build the monsters include worry, fear and rumination. Somehow, in the end what we actually experience is almost never as bad as what we built in our heads.
Goal:
The goal of this workshop is to enable participants identify and recognize the symptoms of stress and ultimately learn techniques for coping.
