This workshop is designed for providers looking to enhance their strength-based approach to treatment planning with clients. Participants will explore tangible methods for assessing client strengths, abilities, and assets through a framework of Recovery Capital. Participants will consider the current best practices of person-centered treatment planning within a S-M-A-R-T goal framework that emphasizes not only a client’s needs and concerns, but also the client’s internal and external assets. The training targets clinicians who provide micro and macro level services to clients in their community. Training experience will be highly interactive with ample opportunity for learning and refining skills through video demonstration, and a mock case-conceptualization exercise.
