HR1 Information – Per Pennsylvania Department of Human Services (PA DHS)
Starting January 1, 2027, a new federal law (H.R. 1) will change eligibility
requirements for Medical Assistance (MA)/Medicaid. Many adults ages 19-64 will need to provide information showing they meet work requirements or qualify for an exemption to obtain or maintain MA health coverage.
